About us

The consultancy was established early in 2008 by Sharon Renkema and Katie Wood. Both have studied at a postgraduate level and have evolved in the equalities field for over 16 years, working in a range of organisations, in both public and private sectors. Both consultants have an enviable record of helping organisations to understand the complex and sensitive issues around equality to implement practical mechanisms which address the issue. Most recently both Sharon and Katie have spent time working in leading Universities within the sector with staff and students.

Equality Focus is based in London but operates all over the UK working for an extensive range of clients across the public sector.
